What is FreeAETemplates?

FreeAETemplates is a website dedicated to finding free and low cost templates, plugins and stock footage for After Effects artists.  We understand that budgets can be tight, time can be short, and deadlines often don’t budge.  Our plan is to help you find media, templates, plugins, or anything that can help you on your next project.  The only criteria we have is that it has to be free (NOT PIRATED) or a great product at an exceptional price.  If we find it, we’ll link to it with a short review.

 

What free stuff are you looking for?

Our goal is finding great free after effects templates and plugins.  Free stock footage is also on our list.  There are so many companies that make great products for After Effects but the problem is finding all of those great products that are free or low cost.  Our goal is to provide you with one convenient location to find most if not all of the free templates, plugins, and stock footage.  If you know of any links to great projects or plugins, send them to us and we’ll post it on our blog.

 

A little bit about me.

My name is Jeff and I have been an After Effects user for over 10 years.  I started out in animation using flash, back when it was owned by Macromedia.  My first introduction to After Effects was version 4.0 on a Beige Mac G3.  It was slow, clunky, and absolutely awesome to animate in compared to the tools available at the time.  Needless to say, I really love using After Effects and I haven’t looked back since.
